As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients utilising a range of business development techniques as well as servicing existing clients. This service will include providing clients with suitable contract and permanent staff with a strong focus on building long term sustainable relationships.  Recruitment Consultants must meet a monthly target that is based on revenue gained as a result of permanent and contract placements. You must be able to action a client development sales cycle that will secure business opportunities; set and achieve sales target strategies for major clients; instigate appropriate number of sales cycles to generate and maintain a constant business pipeline. Other vital aspects of your role will include Territory management; Customer Interface; Business Awareness and Self Development
Not only must you be currently operating within the IT Recruitment Industry, you must have a minimum of four years stable employment within this field.  You will also need to provide proof of earnings and achievements (through previous pay slips, P60s etc.) and excellent references. You will be running a dual Contract and Perm desk and you could be a specialist or generalist IT recruitment consultant. Additional qualities essential for this role excellent communication skills; projecting a professional profile appropriate to sales in the corporate sector; the ability to work in a highly proactive manner in a competitive sales market; be self motivated and able to demonstrate high levels of organisation for prospecting, securing new business opportunities, closing sales and maintaining a sales pipeline; be creative in developing sales strategies and solutions; be literate and numerate; be able to work co-operatively with others and be tenacious and persistent
